Training is detail-oriented and individualized, using consistent evaluation and feedback to help players improve efficiently. Staff members focus on long-term development, emphasizing fundamentals, repeatable mechanics, mental preparation, and game awareness. The mission is to help every player reach the next level that fits them best.

Jim Osting
Founder / Director / Coach
Former professional pitcher with 12 years of pro baseball experience and MLB time. Founded OBA in 2008 and has 20+ years coaching baseball, emphasizing a team-first culture, fundamentals, and long-term player development.
Patrick Ryan
Former college player and pro (drafted by the Brewers). Played multiple seasons in affiliated baseball and later transitioned into full-time instruction, working lessons, camps, and showcase support.
Mike Heath
Former MLB player with a long major league career and extensive catching experience (1000+ games caught). Known for defensive expertise and broad on-field knowledge.
